Cancellation & Refund

Principled Business New York Summit 2025
Effective Date: March 20, 2025

1. Introduction

​

When you register for the Principled Business New York Summit 2025 ("Summit"), we begin a series of preparations to ensure your experience is seamless, including securing venue space, catering, materials, and other event logistics. Many of these involve hard costs that increase as we get closer to the event. As a result, we must implement a cancellation policy to help cover these costs should you need to cancel your registration. We appreciate your understanding.

This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms under which cancellations and refunds will be processed in compliance with applicable U.S. laws and regulations.

2. Cancellation by Participants

​

Participants who wish to cancel their registration must submit a written request via email to michelle@libertyventures.xyz. Refund eligibility is as follows:

  • Cancellations made on or before June 30, 2025: Eligible for a full refund, minus a processing fee of 20%.

  • Cancellations made between July 1, 2025 and August 31, 2025: Eligible for a 50% refund.

  • Cancellations made after September 1, 2025: Non-refundable.

3. Transfer of Registration

​

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to the next Principled Business Summit rather than cancel. 

​

​

  • Transfers must be requested by September 10, 2025.

  • This is a registration transfer, not a monetary credit - it cannot be used toward any other purchases or events.

  • To initiate a transfer, please email michelle@libertyventures.xyz with your cancellation request and confirmation that you would like to transfer your registration to the next Summit.

  • You must receive confirmation from us that you are on the transfer list for your credit to remain valid.

You may transfer your registration to another individual by submitting a request at any time before October 10, 2025. To complete this, please email michelle@libertyventures.xyz with the name and contact details of the new attendee. Transfers are subject to approval by the event organizers and the new attendee must meet any event eligibility requirements as well as agree to the event terms and conditions.

4. No-Show Policy

​

Participants who fail to attend the Summit without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund or transfer credit.

​

5. Special Event Cancellation Policy

​

Special events may include networking dinners, VIP receptions, and private sessions.

  • Cancellations made on or before June 30, 2025 – Special event purchases are 100% refundable.

  • Cancellations made between July 1, 2025 and August 31, 2025 – A 50% cancellation fee will apply.

  • Cancellations made after September 1, 2025 – No refunds or transfers for special events.

6. Hotel Cancellation Policy

​

Hotel reservations made through Principled Business Summit’s official hotel partners can be canceled without penalty up to 72 hours before check-in.

  • A refundable first-night deposit is required at the time of booking.

  • Any changes or cancellations must be handled directly with the hotel. 

Principled Business is not responsible for hotel refunds or reservation modifications.

7. Lost Badge Fee

​

Your event badge is required for access to all sessions, networking areas, and special events. If your badge is lost or misplaced, a $20 reprint fee will apply.

8. Event Cancellation or Rescheduling

​

The Summit organizers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, or other force majeure events. In such cases:

  • If the event is canceled, participants will receive a full refund.

  • If the event is rescheduled, participants may either retain their registration for the new date or request a full refund.

9. Refund Processing

​

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 days via the original payment method. Any applicable processing fees are non-refundable.
